About Smoke Free Accomodations

The Hotels, Motels and Accommodations that list with Smoke Free Accommodations Guarantee that they meet the minimum requirement of one or the other catagories above. Should a hotel that lists with Smoke free Accomodations not live up to the expectations of our non-smoking guests they will have their property removed from our hotel listings.

Our primary goal is to offer non-smoking/smoke free accommodations to the non-smoking public. Many times we have rented rooms that were listed as non-smoking and when we put our heads on the pillow it reaked of smoke residue. We want to be able to help those people who need, desire or just want an honest to goodness smoke free environment, the opportunity to find that accommodation.

Travel Club Advertisers must give a minimum 15% discount to our carded members. This discount is calculated off of the hotels standard seasonal rates.

Smoke Free Properties must agree to allow no smoking in all guest rooms, hallways, lobbies and common guest areas. Designated smoking areas may be set up where smoke will not enter any guest room, hallway or common guest areas. A designated area must be outdoors or in a room that ventilates away from any guest area.

Properties that guarantee a smoke free room must make sure that the following requirements are met. Smoke Free rooms may not be adjacent to or above any smoking room. These rooms may not share ventilation, heating ducts, or adjoining doors with a smoking room. Should a designated smoke free room be smoked in, the room air must be filtered, and all bedding completely changed.
